A brand and an accessible website for a Swiss foundation

Stiftung Iigang is a new Swiss foundation that helps make buildings accessible to wheelchair users: it analyses entrances, steps and ramps, advises owners and helps rebuild them. We developed the brand, wrote the copy in Swiss Standard German and built an accessible website with a self-check that rates how accessible a place is.

The goal

Give a new accessibility foundation a name, a brand and a website that practise what it stands for, ready for its supporters and the people it helps.

How we did it

Accessibility first in every decision, from the colours and words to the way the pages move.

  1. 01

    A name and a brand

Name options with domain checks, a logo, and a colour palette where every text pair passes contrast checks.

  2. 02

    Words that respect people

Copy in Swiss Standard German that uses respectful, factual language about disability throughout.

  3. 03

A website that is easy to use

Clear structure, readable type, keyboard access and animations that switch off for anyone who prefers less motion.

  4. 04

    A self-check for any building

Owners answer a few questions and see how accessible their place is, with a direct way to ask for advice.

What made it hard

A foundation for accessibility is judged on its own website first. Every page had to be easy to use for people with disabilities while still telling a warm, clear story to future supporters.

The result

The brand and website are ready, and the site launches soon.

Is this you?

The same approach fits when:

  • You compete with bigger, better-known names and need to win on method, not budget
  • You want a plan built for your market and your numbers, not a template
  • You want leads and sales you can trace, not just more traffic

Practise what you preach

An accessibility foundation with an inaccessible website loses trust on the first click. So the brand was tested for contrast before anything was designed, the copy was written in respectful language, and every page works with a keyboard and without animation.

A tool, not just a brochure

The self-check turns the foundation's expertise into something a building owner can use in a few minutes. It gives a clear result and a direct way to ask for help, which turns visitors into enquiries.
