A website for a shop that never closes

AlpenBox24 is a staffless automated minimarket in Upper Bavaria, open 24 hours a day, every day. We built a fast German website with an English page for tourists that explains how buying without staff works, shows the range and the way there, and lets the owner update the details without a developer.

    An interactive vending machine and a step-by-step "how it works" page show how buying without staff works before anyone arrives.

    Opening hours, address, payment options and directions are in structured data, with a map built from OpenStreetMap and served from the site itself.

    German first, English for tourists

    Every page is written in German for locals, with one clear English page for visitors to the region.

    Hand the keys to the owner

    An admin panel lets the owner change contact details, social links and the logo. Each save rebuilds and publishes the site.

What made it hard

A shop without staff has to answer every question online, for people who are often searching on a phone nearby. The site had to be fast, clear and found in local search.

The result

The site is live, loads quickly on mobile, sends no visitor data to outside services and can be kept up to date by the owner.

Built for the phone in someone's hand
